This might lead Nike to be vulnerable, if its market share erodes due to some reasons, which may not be likely. As Nike uses leading and professional sports personality for their advertising campaign, it may lead to risk of killing the brand when the hype around this personality dies down.

ANS: As Krispy Kreme is an popular brand in USA, but does not give Franchisee rights to anyone, and hence they could not count on bigger profits yearly, make it vulnerable.

ANS: Krispy Kreme is now expanding and selling Donuts through convenience stores, the marketing department should ensure that they promote and emphasis on “freshness” to their customer which is the success factor of Krispy Kreme as they may believe that since it is expanding and selling through convenience stores, the taste and freshness of Donuts might be lost and hence marketing executives should ensure to work hard to hold that trust in customers mind strongly.
