The patients were suffering from different types of chronic pains. The study proved that treatment for glaucoma, chronic musculoskeletal pain, spasm and nausea, and spasticity of multiple sclerosis was effective. The patients that were treated was all in stable condition which suggests that cannabis can be used safely and effectively as medicine. Also, because the conditions of the patients were stable, it means that they do not need pharmaceutical drugs which is a cost benefit.
