Successful companies often embody the vision of they're founder. Today's modern Apple products still feature elements of Steve Jobs.
Fashion is a matter of personal taste and opinion. Not everyone likes the same clothing items. According to google the definition of fashionable is the following. "characteristic of, influenced by, or representing a current popular trend or style". Wearing element skateboard merchandise defiantly isn't a popular fashion trend. It's also not a popular style.
