The three witches had played a part in deception they deceived Macbeth they gave Macbeth predictions of his future that might not been accurate. The witches force Macbeth to deceive people who are close to thin. The prophecies the witches confessed to Macbeth could have been lies to test how he destroys everything around him. The first set of prophecies that the witches reveal to Macbeth in act 1, scene 3, stated that Macbeth was to become Thane of Glams, Thane of Cawdor and finally be crowned king.
