Power plays a major role in people's lives. It makes the most respected person do the negative things. Whether it's robbing a bank or merely breaking a red light. In Shakespeare's Macbeth it shows how a respected man turns into a bloodthirsty human being. Macbeth was loyal to the King and wanted to be king but not from the wrong path. Slowly slowly Macbeth starts to get change from a respected human to a crazy killing machine.
When the play begins,Macbeth continues to be loyal to Duncan(king). He tells his wife “if fate wants me to be king then i'll be king”. Macbeth is in no hurry to be king and wants to be true to the king. In the beginning Macbeth portrays himself as civil person with no motive in harm. As entering in the novel Macbeth is having a small change in the way he thinks but is still trying to not get it to his head. “Fair is foul and foul is fair” He's trying to play fair but the witches tell him fair is foul and foul is fair. The witches are telling macbeth to play without the rules,cheat and play with betrayal. Macbeth gets influenced by the witches and Lady Macbeth and his tells him that he is a woman if he doesn't kill

Macbeth is getting heated about being King. Macbeth is figuring out a plan on how to kill Duncan. He plans out that he is going to kill Duncan by ending his life at a dinner party. Once Macbeth kills King Duncan,Macbeth has to overcome a few obstacles.”It is concluded. Banquo, thy soul's flight, if it find heaven, must find it out tonight”. Macbeth sees Banquo as a threat so he impatiently sends three killers to kill a friend Banquo. Macbeth is starting to act like a beast and wants to be king anyway he can “...and I fear thou play'dst most foully for it”. Macbeth is trying to be king unfairly how the three witches told him.     Regardless of similarities or differences, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s adaption is more effective at flushing out the witches’ character and creating a cohesive atmosphere to the rest of the play. Firstly, the witches are shown to make a seemingly dangerous potion and then trick Macbeth. This leads into the rest of the plays plot by making the audience question the real power of the witches. With the PBS adaption the editing of the witches doesn't make the audience question anything at all and remove that layer of inquisitiveness from the play.
