When the play begins,Macbeth continues to be loyal to Duncan(king). He tells his wife “if fate wants me to be king then i'll be king”. Macbeth is in no hurry to be king and wants to be true to the king. In the beginning Macbeth portrays himself as civil person with no motive in harm. As entering in the novel Macbeth is having a small change in the way he thinks but is still trying to not get it to his head. “Fair is foul and foul is fair” He's trying to play fair but the witches tell him fair is foul and foul is fair.
