Act 1, scene 2 shows Macbeth as a strong, brave warrior who battles and kills the rebel Macdonald for King Duncan's loyalty. Macbeth heroism is shown once is is lead to victory for Scotland and is surrendered by Sweno. Once the battles over, king Duncan orders Cawdor's execution and arranges for his place in being king to passed over to Macbeth. A captain of Duncan's army at the aftermath and outcome of the battle. They quote the battle of the two armies ‘’Two drowning men, who gain no advantage of clinging together but instead choke their art’’. They also quote that the battle, “like a smiling whore” showing that Macbeth fought this battle with no mercy. Macbeth bravery shows once of the army men quotes Macbeth to be “Valours minion” or also known as a servants courage.
