Ball was one of the first female comedians, this inspired other female comedians.
She opened up more opportunities that inspired other comedians to pursue their dreams. “Her groundbreaking work in comedy paved the way for future stars such as Mary Tyler Moore, Penny Marshall, Cybell Shephard, and even Robin Williams.” She was constantly coming up with schemes to get what she wanted. Ball paved the way for future television women by her talent for both verbal and slapstick comedy. Ball took great risks to be the best comedic actress.

Owning her own production company made Lucille Ball a great role model and changed the way that women and men view the acting industry. Ball Stood for many rights, this made her a leader and showed what kind of person she was. Many more opportunities would have been made if Lucille Ball took one more risk or chose a different path.
