In this essay I will be talking about Ms. Kathryn Johnston who was a nice woman to others. She was a lovely elderly woman who would all ways support kids. Ms. Kathryn Johnston would also help the kids out by giving them clothes and or either raising fundraises for the children that were in need. Ms. Johnston was born and raised here in Atlanta, Georgia on June 26, 1914 - November 21, 2006 at the age of 92 years old. “Every moment of life and dark is a miracle”-Walt Whiteman.

On the night of November 21 2006 Ms. Johnston was shot and killed at her house. The informant (person who gets information for the police) that gave the police offices information they claimed that people had bought drugs out of that house before. Why would an elderly woman want to sell drugs? Why was in necessary for the informant to prevaricate and caused so much trouble? But now look were the police offices and the informant stand today ……still in jail. This event happed when a group of APD narcotics officers decided to do an illegal drug raid without the accurate information. The APD officers forced their way into her home which startled Ms. Johnston .In her mind she thought that a burglar was trying to break into her house and as a result of that she fired a warning shot back at the officers (she didn’t know they were police officers).After,

He is an Atlanta minister who served as a spokesman for lots of family’s who were in danger. Markel Hutchins is a community civil rights activist who worked for people goods. Mr. Hutchins claims that he made a verbal agreement with The Johnston's family.Ms.Johnston’s family notified Mr. Hutchins that he would receive 10 percent of the 4.9 million dollars they would get from wining the case he helped them with. As a result of the family not paying him a percent of the money he decided that he was going to sue Kathryn Johnston family members about 500,000
