Junior can’t get to school due to poverty. His whole education will be affected. The “Junior Gets to School,” (88) picture is describing the different ways Junior gets to school. Sometimes, when they have no gas money, Junior has to hitchhike, find another ride, or sometimes, not even able to get to school. Having no money and living in poverty impacts Junior’s education. This might change his entire future for jobs and opportunities. Another reason is, Junior has no idea every morning when he wakes up, he is uncertain if he will be able to get educated that day. This might cause worry for him for his grades. He could also be in grave danger because when he hitchhikes, a potential killer could be picking him up.
