What makes a hero? The traits of a hero are brave, smart, caring. In each person there’s something that person can do that someone else can’t do. Check out what johnny has done. He has done all the tasks and he has all the traits to make up of a hero. Johnny is an amazing person. The boy always treated johnny as the gang pet. But in the end johnny is the one.

First, What does brave mean? How does a person become called brave?Someone who is brave is a person who will risk their life for others and go somewhere they shouldn’t. The bravest gang member was Johnny, He risked his life to save a lot of little kids who were in distress in the burning church that Johnny and ponyboy hide from the fuzz.When they got there ponyboy was the first to go inside but not long after Johnny ran behind him into the burning church. Johnny wasn’t the the first on in but he wouldn’t come out until all the kids were out.

Johnny ran into the burning church where he and ponyboy found the kids and one by one they threw them out to dallas.Johnny told Ponyboy to get out of the church before it fell but Johnny didn’t make it out.
