Ponyboy is a hero because he save the kids from the church on fire.Ponyboy just see humans just like people because about what randy had told Ponyboy.Ponyboy does not judge nobody.He just doesn't want to fight and doesn’t want to cause very much problems.Ponyboy first hated the Socs because they were like bullies and then like almost the end Ponyboy started liking them and that's why he started saying that they were just people.Ponyboy can always be kind and brave and can do whatever the gang says.

Johnny is a hero because he had save the kids from the burning house and then he had help the gang a lot.Johnny can be kind to Ponyboy and the gang then that one time he went with Ponyboy to the abandoned church.He help Ponyboy from not being afraid from Darry from hitting him.He was risking his life for saving the kids in the burning church.Then Johnny had never committed a crime and he had to run away from the fuzz so that they wouldn't catch them or find them.Then after he had been in the hospital
