The knowledge shape by the character is that she seem to know what is going on around her one example is that when she told the lady in the office she just don’t want to end up like her mother (16:14 25) being pressure by those around her demands of what they want of her put Susanna in a state of sadness and somehow depress of the fact she can’t seem to find happiness. “ Girl, Interrupted'' presents a meticulous, true-to-life portrait of a time in and place where the era's combustible social stresses drove sensitive young women like Susanna into states of flailing desperation” ( Stephen Holden; nytimes.com) ‘One problem is the ambivalent nature of Susanna's condition ("ambivalent" is one of her favorite words). She isn't disturbed enough to require treatment, but she becomes strangely absorbed inside Claymore, as if it provides structure and entertainment she misses on the outside” (Roger Ebert; rogerebert.com).
