It seems like the only way our universe and people function is with the developing of new things. The fact is that we humans get uninterested with the same old-fashioned ideas. It seem like our society is looking for more advancement in technology. With the internet and good old google it seems like this has become very popular in our society. Google has been our go to from spelling, map directions, Wikipedia and dictionary use to name a few. Whether this is a good or bad, quick searches and answers from google makes us a question to debate. While Google is very helpful and gives fast results, it has become a prominent change in the work ethic of Americans and is generating a culture of laziness. Visualize the world being controlled by people who want to skip right to the point and forget all the minute details. Logic will lack its substance and everything will become a general summary. The internet does the work for people and that 's one of the biggest issues. I was raised to do things for myself and not to take the easier way because all the hard work would pay off. When that hard work paid off a sense of satisfaction was gained, and that satisfaction gave a sense of control. People are now confusing that satisfaction with Google doing their work for them. They feel as if they are gaining power and control but in reality they are losing because they aren 't thinking for themselves and expanding their thoughts. No longer are long hours spent trying to find solutions. The steps between points A and Z have been lost. Technology itself isn 't the issue people 's overuse and over reliability on it is. The culture needs to lean first on their mind before turning to the search bar of Google. It 's all about give and take and not letting the balance tip heavily towards technology. People should trust in their own ideas and their own opinions and not let the Internet take over their thought process. Every mind is unique in itself and it can remain that way if originality and self-thinking remain
