Interprofessional practice is something that all Social Workers need to incorporate into their realm of practice. Interprofessional practice is primarily centered on the clients concerns and client care. To be able to provide the best client centered approach you need to be able to effectively work in a team setting and have relationship building values. You will need to take the time to get to know other team members, their values and skill sets they bring to the meeting. In my years as a Certified Nursing Assistant working for a hospice company we would have interdisciplinary meetings every two weeks to discuss client care and concerns for them.
