Inner Beauty vs. Physical Beauty “It’s not about what’s on the outside, it’s about what’s on the inside.” This quote is widely known around the world. Inner beauty and physical beauty are two ways to categorize beauty. In addition, each of these categories can be further broken down into subcategories. These different aspects of beauty can be obtained or improved in many ways and are important to different people in varying degrees. There are many different aspects of physical and inner beauty and they can be obtained or improved in many ways, and is important in different areas. Whether someone is considered beautiful, internally or externally, is subjective. Another famous quote is “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. There are generally accepted standards of physical beauty, but people still have their preferences. But perhaps even more so, whether a person is considered beautiful on the inside varies widely depending on individual perspective.

Physical beauty is what one can see externally. You can judge someone’s physical beauty without ever speaking to them or knowing anything about their personality. Physical beauty is based strictly on factors such as the color of your hair, how close a person’s eyes are together, or the size or shape of a person’s body. Outer beauty is a quality that gives another person visual pleasure.
