Eating meat is an unsustainable habit that is not only unnecessary but also shows how we treat animals inhumanely. It is a practice that dates back to prehistoric times. We now systematically raise animals for slaughter. This leads to animals being raised in poor environments. Animals are treated not as living creatures but as commodities for us to trade and sell.
