Asif’s article is how he talked about the work that a woman can do for a country, for her house and society. According to Islamic Sharia law, males and females are equal in front of God, but there are some conditions mentioned specifically for women which men are following inappropriately. In different Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman women are not even allowed to go outside their house; they can’t even vote or hold office. I really appreciate the writer’s way of thinking, how he mentioned that most of Muslim Arab women’s lives are like prisoners. I think by allowing Arab’s women to work, they can study and improve the overall literacy rate of the country, which will lead to decrease the unemployment rate of the country. They can also teach their children and help them with their education till the end. A women who is earning like her husband can also bring money in house, which will also improve the overall financial condition of a family.
