How To Argue Trumps Immigration Policy With the recent election of Donald Trump, and a republican congress many changes to our government 's policies can be expected. Some of these changes will include a repeal of Obamacare, an increase in cyber security, and an immigration reform. Although, Trump plans on making a great deal of changes the most controversial plan he has is his policy on immigration. His plan includes building a wall on the mexican border, and deporting all illegal immigrants in the United States to their home countries. Due to the large amount of illegal immigrants in the United states this unethical, and illogical proposal has outraged many. Luckily there is a way to fight Trump’s goals. By using logical and emotional appeals set in the future tense, the people that disagree with Trump’s immigration policy, will be able to successfully argue against it. Before explaining the arguments that can be used to refute Trump, It is important to understand the audiences that will be most affected by them. Obviously illegal immigrants themselves will agree the most with arguments against the new immigration policy. Even if there is an estimated eleven million of them in the United States, their voices and thoughts won’t be valued by the government since they are not legitimate citizens.
