How Did Fischler Learn During The Holocaust

My individual is Hans Fischler and he was born in August 1928 in Lancut, Poland. Soon after his Family moved to Liberec, (or Reichenberg) Czechoslovakia. Hans spoke German, but was a polish boy and went to a public school. The picture I chose was Hans’ little brother Alexandre standing in front of his school. After being settled down for a while the Fischler’s moved again to Prague because of the Germans starting to take over Czechoslovakia with the start of taking Sudetenland in the north. After moving to Prague as refugees the Fischler’s had their hearts set on one place in the southern hemisphere, Australia. Thinking they were going to be able to do this they sent all their luggage to France ahead of time. They could’ve gotten away, but their immigration papers didn’t come in time, but Hans had become friends with the French Consul’s son at sports camp in Prague and in 1939 he could give French Visas to Hans and Alexandre. Just in one concentration camp, Auschwitz, over one million people died, and 90% of those people were Jews. These people were innocent, and they were put to death for something that they did not do. Hitler had convinced Germany that the Jews were nothing more than animals, and that’s not right. All people are supposed to be equal, but Hitler did not view Jews as equal he thought the Aryan Race was above everyone. They were tortured, beaten, worked, and killed just because of one thing: hatred. Hatred means extreme dislike or disgust like prejudiced hostility or animosity old racial prejudices, and that’s what the Nazi’s did to the Jews. Hatred is something that people today need to overcome. Hatred is something that needs to be gotten rid of. Hatred is the reason why so many people died when they were innocent. Hatred. But, we can get rid of hatred, so there won’t be another
