Have you ever wondered the details on Christopher Columbus discovering America? I have, and I am very curious about what events lead up to him getting the opportunity and knowledge to discover America. How he got all the academic finding and maps, how he got permission, and if he went alone. Also, just a little more background information on Christopher himself.
I found in my research that the discovery of America was an enormous surprise and overruled all other events that took place in the 15th century. Christopher Columbus was born and raised in a very high ranking family due to his dad being a woolcomber of Genoa. He was extremely smart and began reading and writing at a very early age.
