How Can We Be Saved : Uncertainty Of Salvation Essay
Uncertainty of Salvation
In these past years, many people are uncertain on how they will spend eternity if they died today. Many people, even Christians, are uncertain about their salvation and where they will spend the eternity. Christians have various beliefs based on their traditions, denominations, emotions and others. Therefore, as a Christian, are you ready for the Judgment Day? Satan deceives people into believing a false perception that they are saved if they are a good person, do good works, religious or have a Christian title in their life. However, God warned us for not base our salvation by just doing those good things. As a Christian, we may appear to be a Godly person and seem to act together with the Lord. However, we might miss God’s salvation because God knows the true condition of each man’s heart. In Mark 4:12, it is written, “That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” Many Christians believe that being a good person, doing good works, religious or having a Christian title, are the “condition” for getting God’s salvation. However, many Christians will not directly get saved, even though they are doing those “good” things. God gives salvation to those people who lives according to God’s will instead of just doing “good” works in their entire life (Matthew 7:21-23).
