The spreading of this epidemic has become one of the most dangerous threats to the world, relative to its potential harm to the society as a whole. HIV is the human immune deficiency virus, which causes AIDs-(acquired immune deficiency syndrome). This issue became one of the subjects of intense as the virus started spreading quickly throughout the world. Statistics show that before the year 2010 ended, about 30 million people were found to be living with the infection, 2.7million estimated people with the new infection were also revealed within the very same year (globally) according to 2012 research conducted by UNAIDS, WHO and UNICEF.

In the United States of America, the issue exists mostly amongst gay white men, and has consequently had an increasing impact on the young blacks (African Americans), Latinos, drug users and also the haemophiliacs. In the early years of the new century, more than 50,000 people were infected with the HIV virus whiles 2012 gave a figure of about 1.1 million people who was living with the disease with about 16% of the population unaware of their infection (Avert, 2004).
