With a lot of recent incidents in the news, there is clearly more bad than good with these dangerous rituals, or at least that is what the author of “Regardless of Student Perceptions, Hazing Is Dangerous and Harmful,” a writer from Gale Group believes. In this article, he says that hazing has been a problem for a really long time, and he is disappointed that it these practices have not been stopped. He states that, “Deterring hazing is critical.” After referring to many fatal incidents. The argument made in the subjective article from the Gale Group was something that I totally agree with. I know it is commonly used for initiation of new members to a club or association, and that typically it is meant to have fun, but they are really starting to get out of hand. Toning down the activities that newcomers are forced to participate in may be an option, but I don’t think that anyone would listen. I believe that this is a problem that is very developed already and will be very hard to abolish, but I definitely think that it is worth a
