Cassie Krey: For the Annual Conference Nick from HARDI is coming out to Annual Conference in September. He will be giving a presentation during the general session and then meeting with the distributors to set up a customized education plan for employees. These programs will be a three-year track to cover courses of different skill sets.
Derick Wright: I think we should invite every member and the Education Committee to a conference call and have Nick introduce it then. That way there is some discussion before the meeting.
Growth Rebates
Derick Wright: At the September meeting on Wednesday morning we are going to meet with 6 different discussions with vendors. Within those meetings we are going to discuss growth rebates for the group. We need to discuss what the benefit of training our employees can help the growth rebate program. The challenging part is putting your finger on what worked when training your employees. What is the most important thing to do when training your employees? The more we educate the employees the better the programs will work.
Michael White: It amazes us that not everyone knows what the products are and what they do. We do a service desk training that we educate to our people on the products. We do a face-to-face training and we show the product.

You will give the vendors the opportunity to have their ads on your training portal. I think how we will market this best is to let the vendors know how many contractors you have and what course they could be taking. Explain the different options you can do for them. Tell them how you can put banner ads up over the irrigation section or display their contractors programs right on the training portal. They want their contractors to be educated and we are getting ready to launch a campaigned that will have some incentive for them to take
