t is vital to any firm’s success to have a succession plan in place when preparing long-term goals. Because SIGMA will face a time when long tenured employees will retire, it would behoove them to look at internal options first; as this may decrease the expense of external recruiting cost. However, if the corporation moves forward with outside recruiting options, one of the best methods includes employee referrals. There are positive, and negatives to this realm of recruiting and they include: a positive would be if the employee who is making the referral appreciates the cultural and environment in which they work, it is most likely they will have similar expectations of the referral. On the contrary -- what is the work ethic of the employee
