In the play Our Town, a man very much like a narrator tells the audience all about how small Grover's Corners is and how everyone knows who everyone is. It's very interesting, and most people in the town of Worland, Wyoming would agree with what he is saying. Between Grover's Corner and Worland, Wyoming, people would get along fine with one another. The only way that people from Worland wouldn't get along with people Grover's Corner, is all the technology we have today. Worland and Grover's Corner were both built around the same time (1900) but people from the time of Grover's Corner wouldn't understand anything that the normal society has today (2015). Worland is very small compared to other towns in the United States. 5,500 people is about the population of Worland, and Grover's Corner isn't far off at all. People of Worland would more than likely agree that living in Grover's Corner wouldn't be very different than living in Worland. The people of Grover's Corner have their own personal establishments owned by the very people who live in the town. Worland, has very little places that are personally own by other people outside of Worland, but it does have some establishments that aren't own by a large corporation. For example, the movie theatre in Worland is owned by someone who lives in Worland and it doesn't have any other "Washakie Twin Cinema" places anywhere. In 1938 (the year that the play Our Town took place), when you were bored you couldn't pull out your smart phone and play a game. When you couldn't sleep, you couldn't listen to music or get on the computer to try and tire yourself out. If the people of Worland went back to 1938, most of the older people in Worland would agree that the teenagers and kids would loose their minds and go insane because they couldn't pull out their phone or listen to their music. Same with the other way around, if the people of Grover's Corner came to the year 2015, they wouldn't be totally well informed about the technology we have today and the people of Worland would have to either teach them how to use it or be forced to hear them complain about the "fancy
