The student panels included nursing students, bachelor of health science, and two physical therapy programs. They took the same questionnaires to assess ESI, caring, and leadership at the beginning and end of their programs. They also completed a moral decision-making test. The study analyzed variance between the programs and the time lapse. The rationale behind studying the evolution of the healthcare students is about these positive interaction traits. These traits have also been associated with positive clinical performance and patient outcomes. The research also looks at how effectively the educators’ curricula would contribute to the development of these attributes. Researchers have indicated that healthcare professionals must understand their own emotions so that they can understand others’ emotions, allowing them to effectively communicate with their patients and colleagues, as well as deal with stress and produce better outcomes.
