Gender Stratification-She/He-Who Goes First?
There are so many underlying issues that pose to threaten the minds of young men and the minds of young women today. However, the most threatening issue that we face today is Gender Inequality. Gender inequality stems from societal influence to differentiate men and women roles in society.
In some societies women are treated inferior to men and that 's not fair. Man and woman should be held in accordance to the same standard relieving role strains. The word sex is used to identify the biological criteria for identifying a person as male or female. The real definition of the word is referring to a scribe genetic anatomical and hormonal differences between male and female rights however there are some cases where babies are born with ambiguous genitalia in other words unspecified definition of of the word. There are about five variations of sexist and it 's been known that about 1.7% of babies are intersexed (Our social world, pg 246). The term intersex means a person might be born appearing to be female on the outside, but having mostly male-typical anatomy(male testosterone) on the inside. And the person may be born with mosaic genetics, so that some of her cells have XX chromosomes and some of them have XY. The point is the even though sex, gender and sexuality is used interchangeably, they have distinct meaning. One 's sex shouldn’t determine their value.
