As we take a look at age diversity, we seem to neglect the responsibility and importance it has in business. If we start by first understanding the meaning and the basic concepts of age diversity, we can then realize its potential influence and impact that it can have in an organization. The age difference is defined as the ability of an institution to accept people of various age categories within the organization's business environment (Sravani, 2016). According to an article illustrating how younger generations could benefit older workers in a firm, younger generations were seen to have a good working knowledge of business technology and how mature workers have the advantage of traditional business skills (Woog, 2013). The author of this article uses an excellent example, comparing a customer who may prefer the fast pace of email correspondence as oppose to someone else appreciating the tradition of a formal business letter. This method validates my argument as it indicates why having such a diverse workforce can cater to both types of customer. Whether its corporate policies or company policies and regulations, older workers are easier to recruit and find it easy for them to adjust to a working culture.

Diversity in the workplace is growing rapidly from countries all over the world. Having a more culturally diverse work environment can produce a better and more efficient performance. It is crucial for every company to know the basic principles of diversity and how to handle the issues relating to it. There is a high demand of diversity in a workplace because it manifests itself in building a good reputation and image for a business, which can later lead to productivity. I call on leaders in the organizations to learn the meaning of diversity and how to manage it
