For instance Antigone tell creon “I was thoroughly aware I would die before you proclaimed it”( Sophocles 565-566). When Antigone buried Polynieces she was aware of what her actions and what it would lead her to. Again, Antigone shows her hierarchy by telling Ismene, “Then weakness will be your plea. I am different. I love my brother and im going to bury, him now”(Sophocles 99-101). Antigone is a brave girl, has affection towards her brother, and nothing would stop her for what she is doing but, Ismene is very scared and doesn’t know whether to help her sister. The Moral Hierarchy shows that Antigone goes by the laws she knows will better serve the people and that she feels sympathy for her family.
