CBK Success Essay I have enjoyed being at the CBK program so far for the little time I’ve been here because it’s helped me a lot. The program, teachers, and the staff members have been guiding me in the right direction and making sure I don’t make the wrong decision and not get off track. They convinced me to join things that could be good for me in the future and making sure I’m doing things to keep myself on track so I’m ready to go to college and get a good well-paid job. During my experience in the CBK, I’ve learned to be more growth minded. What I mean by being more growth minded is being more determined than I was to accomplish my goals I’ve set in my head when I first started the CBK program. The goals I’ve set was to earn most of my credits I missed or didn’t earn and get a job. I have been actually following up with my goals every since I started going there. By being more socially responsible I had to do things that would influence in things I decide to do in the future. I became more responsible because in the CBK you’re more secluded to yourself so you have to do everything you know you need to do on your own. In the CBK, you are treated more like an adult than you are a teenage student. They do this because they are trying to mold us into the young adults that we are becoming and preparing us for the future and what’s out there. They make sure we make responsible choices so we have bright steady-paced career path and future ahead of
