An employee handbook considered an important tool that communicating between the employer and the employees. А well-written handbook outline the employer’s expectations for employees, and delineate what the employees can expect from your organization. As an employer, your legal obligations and your employees’ rights should be described in the handbook.

In compensation section, clearly explain to the employees that your organization will apply the required deductions for state and federal taxes, and deduction for the organization’s benefits programs as well. Also, you should outline the legal obligation as an employer regarding payment schedules, overtime payment, performance reviews, breaks and bonuses, timekeeping records, salary increases.

Safety and Security
In the security and safety section, the Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s policy describe the steps for making the workplace safe and secure, including compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s law. This law requires employees to report all injuries, accidents, safety suggestions, potential safety hazards, and health and safety related issues to management. Bad weather and community hazardous policies are included in the safety policies too.
Leave benefits and other work policies:
Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s leave policies are carefully documented. For full-time employees, sick Leave benefits are earned on a prorated basis of one day (7 hours) per month beginning at first day of employment. . Family medical leave, time off for court cases, jury duty, time off for voting, military leave all be documented in the handbook to comply with state and local laws. Full time employee is eligible for eleven and half occasions each year, including national holidays. For employee who completed six months of work is eligible for three days sick leave per
