Within the intricate structure of an office are a myriad of employee factors. To that point, as the paradigm shifts in conventional societal standards shift, so do workplace standards. Thus this memo will discuss what are Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), and the legal caution regarding EAPs?

Employee Program Assistance

To begin, the rise in dual-career couples and ‘non-traditional families’ have risen in recent years. In knowing this, organizations created Employee Assistance Programs; such programs, offer counseling and/or referral services. The objective of EAPs are to improve employee competence, performance, and well-being. Written below, is a comprehensive EAP profile:
