Please accept this cover letter and resume as my application for the position of a CO-OP student within your restaurant. I believe I am a good choice because I am a very respectful student and whatever task you give me will be done to the best of my abilities. I am in the CO-OP program at Earl Haig Secondary School and am interested in working for you. Having me there will not cost you any money, therefore there is no downside to having me work in your restaurant.

I am currently in my last year of high school at Earl Haig Secondary School. I chose a 4 credit CO-OP because I hope to gain valuable work experience, expand upon my work ethic and learn skills that I can’t or have trouble learning in school.

I enjoy learning more hands on kind

I am inquiring about the openings at The Club for a waitstaff worker I came across via GauchoLink. I am interested in the position as I have extensive experience in the industry as well as a growing passion for this field of work. Upon coming across the Waitstaff position opening , I was excited as I come from a family well engrossed in the food service industry. My father, the previous owner of two successful fine-dining establishments and chef of over twenty-five years, has instilled in me his passion for the industry alongside his expertise. As a waitress and catering assistant of nearly four years, I am confident that I possess the skills necessary to compliment this company and help maintain its goal of providing a quality, fine dining…

Emmons’ article about portfolio cover letter is very informative. It not only covers insights from the instructors’ perspective from reading the letters, but also describes interpretations of the writers. I've learn that the purpose of the portfolio cover essays are for instructors to understand students’ work ethics and reflect upon their own teaching methods. However, the issue with these letters is that most of them are “scripted responses to… the narrative of progress- it begins with a reluctant, frightened student and ends with an articulate, confident writer” (Emmons 47). Often time, students tend to interpret the idea of them promptly fixing their mistakes and obligating to do well in the end.…

This letter is to inform you of my resignation from my position as server at Dragonfly, effective April 25, 2016. Due to daily harassment from employees and management I am forced to put in my two weeks notice. I have endured as much as possible from the staff and brought the harassment to the attention of management many times. Since then it has become increasingly worse and nothing has been done, or even brought up in conversation by the incompetent and lazy management staff. I was told by Luis that he “would look into it” in a disrespectful tone, as if harassment was not a matter of concern, then proceeded to give me a blank stare as to suggest I should leave.…

Fall of 2013 I started the Early College Alliance, otherwise known as ECA. For those who do not know, when you first start ECA you take High School level classes, with other High Schoolers during your first semester. After teachers review your progress you’ll either be placed in College classes, because you’re what they call, “College Ready,” or you’ll take another semester of High School classes. During my second year of ECA, I was placed in EMU College classes. During this time I was exposed to an environment in which I was interacting with adults in a classroom setting, versus being in school with students in my age group.…

I’m writing this open cover letter to express what are my dreams, skills, and qualities that make me unique. The begin of my working career is imminent but, although I consider myself ambitious, there are only a couple of features that I seek in companies and I consider them fundamental. First, I desire to work in an international environment, where I can become a world citizen, travel, learn other languages, meet new cultures and share mine. Second, my company should have a strong focus on people, a willingness to improve its employees’ lives and make a broader positive impact on society.…
