My mom decided to come to the US to find greener pasture. When she saw that things were getting difficult for her my mom decided to send my sister and me to Ghana to live with my aunt. He should wake me up. I told her that I was hungry, but instead of bringing me food, she went out to call the doctor. I never knew that doctors could ran, the way this one ran. It is looked like he was in a running a marathon. When he came to the room, the first thing he asked me was how I was feeling. I told him I was good. He then told my aunt that I needed to stay in the hospital for one day to see if everything was fine. I was traumatized so badly that I did not want to go back to my aunt’s house again. Therefore, she sent my sister and me to my maternal grandparents to stay with them which made me very happy. Every Sunday, they would take us to church to listen to the word of God. We would all return home, after that we ate, and chatted and slept. It went on for four consecutive times. The following Sunday, a certain pastor came to preach a special sermon. He said, “No matter how bad life brings to u, don’t let it rule your life. Make something out of your misfortune by turning it into a blessing for others” I marveled about what he said.
