The 10 Minute Rule is a new approach to controlling homework. In New York a Manhattan public school abolished homework entirely, blaming it for students ' "frustration and exhaustion, lack of time for other activities and family time and, sadly for many, loss of interest in learning."(Caspari 6).

If you have your classmate do your homework for you, then it looks like you really understand topics that you don’t really understand. You can give your teacher the wrong information.
