During the the early ages of civilization, for example, Egypt developed hieroglyphics and Chine had just about forty thousand Chinese characters. After this, most cultures started preserving knowledge and maintained the art of writing. From then on literacy was born. After these advancements the human race started developing different types of institutions which were mainly medieval universities that were established in Italy, France, and England in the late 11th and 12th centuries. Most universities offered the study of arts, law, medicine, and theology. From there the world started to evolve. Schools where children could attend were then born into society forever changing education. Education could not be where it is today without technology. I remember when I started going to school teachers in kindergarten would use chalkboards then in fourth grade they moved to the Elmo projectors and now teachers almost always use power point and the internet. I honestly do not remember the last time I saw a teacher or professor use a chalkboard. Additionally, technology has also helped when it comes to what we use to learn. People in todays society now have access to laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc. and can use these to learn and to do
