In the following essays, I’m going to tell you why the dark ages shouldn’t be referred to as such due to the advances in education, architecture and religion.
The education system created in the dark ages (still utilized today in a few schools) was the framework utilized by the colleges which were made in the early medieval times. When it comes to education in the middle ages, you can’t help but mention the advances in mathematics and science. In conclusion, a dark age doesn't produce the world’s 1st universities, it doesn't build impressive cathedrals, it doesn't produce nice art, and it doesn’t advance intellectual thought. All these things happened within the Middle Ages which is why the term is both outdated and offensive in a
