On September 10th, Earl Ringer Jr. was executed in Missouri. In July of 1998, Ringer and his accomplice robbed a restaurant where two people were killed. Ringer was charged with two first degree murders and sentenced to death. His actions were indeed heinous but his punishment was discussable.
