Determinism, the opposite view to that of Libertarianism, argues that there cannot be any human freedom of choice or action. Therefore a determinist would agree that there is no free will. Determinism stems into two major philosophical theories of free will, Hard Determinism, and Compatibilism; Soft Determinism. Both Hard and Soft Determinism follows the Principle of Universal Causality, that is that every event in the world must be caused by some other event. If an action is caused by other events, then it is not free. Every event or state of affairs, including every human decision and action, is the inevitable and necessary consequence of both prior and preceding antecedent states of affairs and is based on the theory of Universal Causation. Isaac Newton stated the ‘All physical objects, living or dead, must conform to natural laws,’ hence to follow these natural laws physical objects must have a cause. This is the belief that everything in the universe, including all human action and choice, has a cause. Thus all events are causally determined and theoretically predicted. The prior truth about the world, that nothing happens for no sufficient reason is called Causality. Causality is the view that the world is a mechanism, that choices are already determined by previous conditions, no acts are avoidable. A Hard determinist follows this path, that everything is
