Chicago is a place I admire because of the beautiful city and people. When my sister asked to go on this trip with her I didn’t think twice about going. The buildings impress me, the life people live in a busy city interest me, the weather makes feel at home, having my sister with me makes me feel whole. We smile from ear to ear because we are experiencing something new, limits don’t exist in this picture we can reach for the stars. I can’t wait to be in the windy city once again.

I went with a simple white shirt and scarf, curly hair of course. Hands are under my chin and eyebrow raised because in same weird way that pose makes me feel powerful. The lights trickle down to add an effect in the mirror behind. Half a smile is my go to, I try to show I’m happy but I also mean business, in my book that is a perfect senior picture.
Late start on a tuesday, that calls for breakfast with your friends. Village inn is our place of choice because no else can decide on anything else. Food is displayed proudly especially the chicken strips with fries, my usual order. Smiles all around because for one day we start at 9:30, the same routine has gone to old for us. Oh how I will miss this next year.
You have to find the right dress, make your hair and makeup appointments on time, and don’t forget about finding the perfect date. Stress begins months in advance because everyone wants to enjoy their last hurrah. Moms stress about finding the restaurant for everyone to dine in, endless pictures because memories are wanted to keep sacred. The group is full of friends but their is always the ones that are unknown but we try our best. The what to do afterward question comes up because no one wants to go home early.
