In teens it can be the normal process of maturing and the stress associated with it. Family problems like a loss in your family or arguing with family members can create stress. Also if the person feels bad about his or herself or being put down. This can cause school grades to drop and even dropping out of school. Feeling alone or feeling different from other people. People do not understand the situation the person is in.
