Freedom in a blind man’s eye, some may think that if you have no sight you have so many restrictions, but the opposite can be true too. You can hear more, feel more, taste more, smell more. A study, published in The Journal of Neuroscience, shows people who are born deaf use certain part of their brain typically devoted to processing sound, to process touch and vision. Your world isn’t a shrouded darkness, but it’s a new found territory of possibility, …show more content…
If you are happy you are free, you can find freedom in any form that makes you feel a great rush of emotion has just passed through you, sent by the entity that drives you to be happy. A person can be blind to emotion which means they don’t see that the things they do, the way they act, or the things they say can have an impact on someone. It can dig deep into a person’s core and break them down depriving them of happiness. Someone who is emotionally blind does not understand themselves, nor do they understand others. If you really loved or cared about someone their happiness wouldn’t be questioned, their freedom wouldn’t be questioned, their person wouldn’t be questioned. Sometimes when someone is emotionally blind they don’t care about hurting someone, they don’t care that they aren’t entitled to the freedom they deserve. The person being hurt is blind to the person’s actions, sure they recognize the rage, they see the damage it’s doing, and they notice the pain they feel, but instead of screaming or walking away or even learning to stand up and say what needs to be said. It’s never enough to just see something, like to see yourself as someone’s world, as a successful businessman, or even as doctor. None of those sights matter if you don’t walk on the path to put yourself there. As Vaclav Havel once said, “It is not enough to stare up at the steps, we must step up the stairs.” Would seeing a goal but doing nothing to get there and still not succeeding make you feel accomplished? Would it make you feel happy? Happiness is what drives everyone to feel free, seeing a goal might make you happy, but the eyes are useless when the mind is blind. Many people are blind to reality and only see what they want to see, they can choose what they dislike in their life and daily activities and they can choose what they like. The harder those steps are every time you climb one there will be a moment of bliss that you surpassed your expectation and have gotten a step closer to your goal. If you see yourself somewhere in the future, make yourself get there because you can only be free if you you have tried to reach your goal. Even if you fail, it won’t feel worse than if you failed and didn’t try. If you don’t try there isn’t anywhere you can pick yourself up from, but for someone who has tried, they have miles of steps behind them that they have reached. So have a vision, even if you can’t see, it won’t matter if you know where you want to
