Freedom is a wonderful and sacred part of our everyday American lives. Here we have the right to state our own opinions and believe in what we feel is right. We can choose how we want to live our lives and speak our opinion freely. In America we can go after our dreams and have hope without any fear of punishment. Freedom is what our righteous country was built on. I know that I am extremely fortunate to have this freedom because so many other countries don’t. There are many countries that are constantly at war, where there are poor helpless children who hear gunshots and explosions on a daily basis. These people don’t know other than the lives they are living. They do not know the feeling of freedom and a life without fear. In America we are safe from this horrible fate because of the brave men and women that …show more content…
Many brave and determined soldiers die for us each and every day so that we can live the independent and peaceful life that we do now. My father is a veteran from the Army and I remember missing him greatly while he was out fighting for our country. There are many others like my father who are risking their lives right now and sacrificing time with their families so that we can live in peace. The brave men and women that serve our country are the only things standing between us and a life of restriction.They protect and fight for our beloved country so we can remain the land of the free. Without these heros we would not have our independent and free lives. They are constantly fighting for us without complaint or question and are truly heroes. These people are the reason that we are able to call ourselves “The Land of Opportunity” or “The Land of Liberty”. Our freedom is something that comes with a high price.
