I agree with you that the need for these training programs is critical as a result of the copious amount of health disparities in the United States. “The primary purpose of cultural competence training is to increase knowledge of multicultural factors that may impact the provision of health care services” . In addition, these cultural competences trainings are significant to help eliminate the possibility of health professionals engaging in discriminatory practices.
