Chris Kyle was the deadliest sniper in American history with over 160 confirmed kills. Kyles’ numerous actions of bravery on the battlefield show his immense courage. Providing overwatch for marines in Fallujah, the marine team he was protecting became trapped in an alley as guerillas fired at them. Chris ran down the alley directly into enemy gunfire. He was able to provide enough cover fire for the marines to escape; as he prepared to escape, he noticed a marine with gunshots to his legs. Instead of securing his own life, he ran to the marine, picking him up and running to safety, despite the enemies firing at him directly. Even after the stress of competing in the Olympics and being viewed by millions on TV, she says "This transition has been harder on me than anything I can imagine"(Jenner). Jenner often spends her time encouraging others to avoid degrading transgender people simply because they are different, because it is rude and harmful. During her Arthur Ashe Award speech, she stated “If you want to call me names, doubt my intention, the reality is, I can take it. But for thousands of kids out there coming to term with who they are, they shouldn’t have to take it” (Jenner).
