Constructive Feedback Practice

Providing good constructive feedback takes practice. Howard, Barrett, and Frick (2010) suggest that allowing feedback to be given under conditions of anonymity may serve as a useful scaffold for helping novices provide feedback more honestly since they would be less open to social consequences. In my personal experiences with peer feedback where everyone could see who said what, I found that feedback lacked detail and was mostly made up of "Good job!"
