Many have asked, is there really a difference between community college and a four year university. The answer is, yes, of course because of the smaller classes, academics, and advantages one might receive from a community college experience. Four year colleges, on the other hand, have bigger classes, higher academic standards, and a completely different atmosphere. Community colleges offer more one on one help, because of the class sizes. In a four year university students do not receive as much one on one assistance. These two factors play a big role in deciding which college is a person's best option.

Both community college and a four year university can prepare one for the future. These two types of colleges both have many options and opportunities to help students succeed.
