While ordinarily it isn't about the grades and getting into college that you been dreaming of, it is about alternate viewpoints including fininacial issues, level of freedom and if you the desire / passion for a major. Community college and four year Universities are both great decisions, however are implied for different individuals. On the ootherhand that somebody has a set path way , for example, to be a Lawyer, then seek law school in a four year University. In many cases, if that individual isn't set up to leave home or has no define objectives to what they want to do, then Community College would be a vastly improved decision for that person.
