Place: Seabourn Elementary
Time: 4 hours 35 minutes This week’s observation purpose was to figure out how many students have BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans) in Ms. Zapata’s classroom. Three behavioral strategies that are used daily are the following; being constant with the students that are in need of reminders of what to do constantly without getting off task. Being strict with them is a major key if they have behavior issues, students need to be reminded who is in charge, who they have to listen strictly. Furthermore, students need constant reinforcement from their teacher, this is for students who feel the need to disobey what the teacher has to say and who go against them.
